Picture this

Imagine you’re falling off a cliff. Theres no turning back now, you’re going to die. As you fall headfirst towards the red desert floor, you notice the tumbleweed rustling in the wind, the lava red rocks below you jutting out in every direction. You turn to see the sunset in the horizon, burning blood red in the desert sky. You look back towards the spot from which you fell, wanting more than anything to be back there, as you were before. As you look back into the eyes of those still on the cliff, you remember how it happened, the reactions of people, their faces not hiding what they felt. As you turn slowly back to the floor you realize what was important in your life. You want to go back, you wish you could change it all but you can’t, you just accept it, its over. You ask yourself “What’s next?” All the different theories on what happens after death rush through your mind. You question whether what you believed your whole life was true. You don’t know, but you have faith. It has to be true, you know it is. You spread your arms wide, ready embrace the desert floor, and death itself. Knowing you’re right, knowing everything is going to be ok.
